This boy refused to close those bright eyes for his session. Wide awake and full of wonder, he watched my every move. Sleeping was definitely not on his agenda. As well as crying. He never even made a peep. It is so neat to see a baby when they do this because it isn’t very typical. They usually pass right out the second they are wrapped up in the studio. I think I’ve only had two babies that have ever not slept. I’m actually glad that Mr. Drake didn’t though. I mean, check out those eyes! He already had so much character. Only a few days old, but already full of so much curiosity. I love this baby’s mama dearly. She is one of the people I have known the longest in Sheridan and she and her family mean a great deal to us. I’m so glad I got to spend some time with her and her little man.
